St. Rose School Walkathon Raises Over $48,000 in an Incredible Celebration of Community, School Spirit, and Giving

The halls of are still buzzing with excitement after the tremendous success of our 2026 Walkathon! This year’s event brought together students, families, faculty, staff, alumni, sponsors, and supporters in an unforgettable day that truly showcased the strength and spirit of the St. Rose community.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our supporters, the Walkathon raised more than $48,000 to support our students, programs, and school initiatives. We are also proud to share that St. Rose School had nearly 58% student participation across our school community.

From the moment opening ceremonies began, the energy throughout campus was electric. Students proudly wore their team colors, waved signs, cheered one another on, and filled the grounds with excitement and school spirit. This event was about far more than fundraising, it was about building community, celebrating together, and creating memories that our students will carry with them for years to come.

Throughout the day, students enjoyed music and entertainment provided by our amazing DJ, whose energy kept everyone motivated and dancing lap after lap. The excitement continued as students celebrated milestone achievements and cooled off with delicious treats from the ever-popular Kona Ice truck, which quickly became one of the highlights of the day.

The Walkathon course itself was lined with sponsor signs, cheering families, colorful decorations, and endless encouragement from volunteers and staff. Our students demonstrated incredible teamwork, perseverance, enthusiasm, and pride in their school community from start to finish.

One of the most inspiring parts of the Walkathon is seeing how every member of the St. Rose family comes together with a shared purpose. Parents volunteered countless hours organizing logistics, setting up, cheering students on, distributing materials, coordinating incentives, and ensuring every detail of the day ran smoothly. Teachers and staff supported students every step of the way, helping to create a positive and exciting atmosphere throughout the event.

A very special thank you goes to our dedicated Walkathon Committee, whose tireless planning, creativity, and commitment made this event possible. Their work behind the scenes for months leading up to the Walkathon helped turn a fundraiser into a true schoolwide celebration.
