Tuition Frequently Asked Questions

  • Q. What is the tuition for 2024-25? Is it increasing?

    A. Tuition for the 2024-25 school year is $7660 per full-time student. This includes an increase of $315 per student (4.3%) which is in keeping with inflation rates and necessary in order to accommodate the increasing costs of operating our school. Our School Advisory Board carefully weighs decisions about tuition each year, and this decision reflects the minimum necessary increase to ensure we continue to be able to balance the school budget next year.

  • Q. Does tuition cover the full cost of educating a St. Rose student?

    A. The actual cost of educating a St. Rose student is $10,327—substantially more than

tuition, which is set at $7660 for the 2024-25 school year. Thus, we have a “tuition gap” of

$2667 per student. The tuition gap has existed for many years, as we continue to balance our

goal to keep Catholic education affordable for most families while facing ever-increasing

    operating costs.

  • Q. What is the school doing to address the “tuition gap”?

    A. We have two main strategies to address the tuition gap. Our FACTS tuition system will include an optional “Bridge the Gap'' contribution, which provides an option for families who have the means to

make a tax-deductible charitable donation of $2667 per student and thus bridge the tuition gap for their child(ren). Our second critical strategy for addressing the gap is our fundraising target, which is $150,000

for the current school year. We thank you in advance for your continued support for our ongoing fundraising efforts.

  • Q. What if additional resources are needed to educate a St. Rose Student?

    A. St. Rose School is dedicated to providing a stellar academic, faith-based education to students in Preschool through 8th grade. Tuition alone does not cover the cost of educating each student. In fact,

there is a GAP fee of $2,667 per student that the school must make up through fundraising every year. As a result, the school is not in the position to cover outside services (speech therapy, remedial math tutoring,

etc.). Teachers/administrators can assist you in locating resources, however each family is responsible for the cost of these services.
