Summer Learning

Summer Reading packets were sent home to students entering Grades 6-8 to be completed over the break. Students are asked to read two of the books from the list and be ready to present an excerpt for a grade upon returning to school. Please see the packet for details.

Throughout the summer, students entering grades 1 through 8  are encouraged to use Khan Academy for enrichment learning. Please assist your child in creating a student account and joining their class for next year using the class code from the table below at https://www.khanacademy.org/join/. The classes are set up to provide self-paced lessons in a variety of skills and subject areas. 

Be sure to use your own personal email account to create a child account for your child. Their school accounts will be deactivated and cannot be used for Khan Academy summer activities.
