Special Auction Prizes Create Unforgettable Memories at St. Rose School

This week brought excitement and unforgettable memories to as several incredible auction prizes from our earlier-in-the-year Reverie Night event were officially honored.

One of the most exciting experiences was a special fire truck ride to school, generously provided by Newtown Hook and Ladder. Our lucky student winners were treated to a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to not only ride in a real fire truck, but also tour the firehouse beforehand and explore the station up close.

Students had the chance to learn more about the important work of our local firefighters, see the trucks and equipment firsthand, and ask questions about fire safety and emergency response. The experience was filled with excitement, curiosity, and smiles from beginning to end.

The celebration continued as the fire truck made its way to school, where students lined outside eagerly waiting to greet and welcome the crew. The arrival created an incredible buzz throughout campus and quickly became one of the highlights of the day.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to for their partnership, generosity, and willingness to create such a meaningful and memorable opportunity for our students. Community partnerships like these help make St. Rose such a special place for our children to learn and grow.

In addition to the fire truck experience, we were also thrilled to welcome our “Resource Officer of the Day,” Ms. Ella! As part of another exciting Reverie Night auction experience, Ella worked alongside Officer Rick throughout the day helping to keep the halls and school safe at St. Rose School.

From greeting students and staff to assisting with important “school safety duties,” Ella embraced her role with enthusiasm, professionalism, and a huge smile. Students loved seeing her throughout the building, and she truly made the most of her special day.  Ella also had the opportunity to sit inside a Newtown Police Cruiser, making her special day as Resource Officer even more exciting and authentic!

Experiences like these highlight the incredible impact of our Reverie Night event. Beyond fundraising, these auction items help create lasting memories, strengthen community connections, and provide unique opportunities for our students that they will remember for years to come.
