Celebrating Teacher Appreciation Week at St. Rose School
A Week of Gratitude, Celebration, and Appreciation for the Heart of Our School
This week at St. Rose School was filled with gratitude, laughter, creativity, and heartfelt appreciation as we celebrated the incredible teachers and staff who mean so much to our school community. Teacher Appreciation Week gave us the opportunity to recognize the dedication, compassion, and countless ways our educators make a difference in the lives of our students every single day.
Throughout the week, our faculty and staff enjoyed a variety of themed spirit days that brought fun and smiles to the halls of St. Rose School. We kicked off the celebration with Monochromatic Monday, where teachers dressed head-to-toe in a single color, followed by Teacher Tired Tuesday, inviting faculty to wear their coziest and most relaxing attire. On Anything But a Cup Wednesday, teachers got creative by bringing beverages in anything but a traditional water bottle or cup. Thursday’s theme, “Not My Job Thursday,” encouraged teachers to dress as the profession they might choose if they were not educators, resulting in many fun and imaginative outfits throughout the building.
Our wonderful HSA went above and beyond all week long to show teachers and staff just how valued and appreciated they are by our families. Monday’s theme, “Fueling Those Who Inspire,” treated faculty and staff to breakfast sandwiches from the General Store along with refreshments to start the week off right.
Tuesday’s theme, “Lucky to Have a Teacher Like You,” included raffle tickets for every teacher and staff member for the chance to win gift cards. Students also participated in a special dress down day by wearing their teacher’s favorite color in honor of the educators who inspire them each day.
On Wednesday, teachers were reminded how much they help our students grow with the theme “Thanks for Helping Us Bloom.” Faculty members participated in a beautiful build-your-own bouquet activity and were able to bring home fresh flowers as a token of appreciation.
Thursday’s theme, “Thanks a Latte,” featured personalized coffee surprises for every teacher and staff member. The HSA provided gift cards to each faculty member’s favorite coffee shop, and their preferred drinks were delivered directly to school.
The celebration concluded on Friday with a special Teacher Appreciation Luncheon sponsored by the HSA. A beautiful spread was thoughtfully prepared as a heartfelt thank you for all of the time, energy, love, and dedication our teachers and staff pour into the St. Rose community every day.
We are incredibly grateful to our HSA and families for making this week so meaningful, and most importantly, to our amazing teachers and staff for all they do to educate, inspire, guide, and support our students. St. Rose School is truly blessed to have such an extraordinary team of educators.
