Crowning of Mary

An 8th grade girl places a flower crown on the Mary statue near the altar of the church. Two second grade students and an 8th grade boy stand nearby
Crowning of Mary -- In this beautiful month of May, we give extra attention to our beautiful Blessed Mother. Grades 3-8 recently gathered in the church to recite the Joyful Mysteries of the Rosary (led by upper grade students), to reflect on the faith, motherhood and graces of Mary, and to place a crown of flowers upon her head (done by two Kindergarten and two 8th grade students). The reverence, respect and integrity displayed by all students is a hallmark of St. Rose School.
