St. Rose School students Study Original Artwork by Ukrainian Students

Promoting peace through art is the focus of Fermata Arts, an organization of which St. Rose School Art Teacher Mrs. Meagan Ferriter is a member.  Recently the school received beautiful artwork created by students, ages 5 to 15, in Ukraine that is now on display at St. Rose School.  Students in K-8  are visiting the exhibit to study aspects of Art that they are learning in class.  Teachers are also using the exhibit as a springboard to discuss current affairs in an age appropriate manner.  Mrs. Ferriter is working on "We are the World" themed projects with her students that will eventually be sent to classrooms in Ukraine.
