St. Rose of Lima School kicks of $10,000 Tuition Raffle Friday March 15th!

Lively lessons make lasting impressions! This is true for St. Rose first graders who spent time studying U.S. Presidents and First Ladies that culminated in a school wide parade in which they dressed as their respective historical figures and marched through the halls of the school carrying signs and waving American flags. The entire school lined the hallways to show their support. 

Exceptional enrichment programs add a dynamic dimension to the curriculum at St. Rose School. One example is the Finance Club where students learn key components of investing and other important financial functions that can be applied in many aspects of life. One of the activities they engage in is a national Monopoly tournament that challenges their investment strategies. One of the 7th grade students recently took first place in the tournament with an impressive investment portfolio. 

What makes daily life at St. Rose School extra special is living our faith outwardly and working together as a school family to bring God's light to those in need. During CSW students and faculty created an assembly line to pass hundreds of warm blankets they donated for the homeless. We also gathered for a spirited Faculty vs. 8th grade volleyball game and gathered for Mass to give thanks for this stellar academic, faith focused education and the dedicated clergy, religious, administrators, teachers, parents, family members and parishioners who make it possible. We have a rich history and a bright future! 

Thanks to everyone who made our Blooms Benefit a great success!  It was a wonderful night of connections as people spanning 23+ years of Monsignor's time at St Rose School and parish gathered to show him love and appreciation for all he has done to help us Bloom.  It was also a significant fundraiser for St. Rose School.  Funds raised will help us bridge the tuition gap and ensure that this stellar academic, faith focused education continues for students in Preschool - 8th grade.  We have a rich history and a bright future because of you!

 One of the outstanding aspects of the curriculum at St. Rose School is the Buddy program which pairs older students with younger students in a variety of activities including reading sessions, school assemblies and service outreaches.  Being responsible role models gives older students confidence and purpose; younger students also gain confidence, feel connected and aspire to be role models one day.  Many alumni reflect about the impact the Buddy program had on their school experience.
