We are excited to have you visit our Athletics page! At St. Rose School, we believe in the power of sports to teach valuable lessons in teamwork, discipline, and leadership. Our athletics programs are designed to provide students with opportunities to grow both on and off the court or field, while fostering a sense of community and school spirit.

Whether your child is just starting out or has years of experience, we offer a variety of programs to meet their needs. From competitive team sports to recreational leagues, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Athletics Forms

* Yearly Physical every 13 months must be on file.
* Submit Health Assessment Form to the Nurse at nurse@srles.com. If unsure of form status, please check with the school nurse

Fees are billed via FACTS and Forms must be submitted BEFORE your athlete can participate

All forms must be completed online using the Final Site Enrollment Checklist and are located under your student’s upcoming school year registration.

Girls Teams

The St. Rose Cheerleading Team is an energetic and spirited group that brings excitement and school pride to our home basketball games.

The team is made up of two groups: Sideline Cheer, which leads chants and cheers to rally the crowd, and Stunt Cheer, which performs dynamic routines that showcase impressive skills and teamwork.

The cheer season kicks off in June, with practices and preparation running throughout the school year, culminating with basketball season, which ends in April.

In addition to cheering on our teams during games, the cheerleaders also perform captivating routines during halftime, adding an extra level of excitement to the St. Rose athletic experience. Go St. Rose Cheer!

 

The St. Rose Volleyball Team is a dynamic group of athletes who bring energy, teamwork, and a love for the game to the court.

Open to students in grades 5-8, the team focuses on developing fundamental skills, strategic gameplay, and strong sportsmanship. Whether players are learning the basics or refining advanced techniques, our dedicated coaches provide a supportive environment for growth.

Competing against other Catholic schools, the team represents St. Rose with pride and determination. Volleyball is a fantastic way for students to build confidence, foster friendships, and embrace the spirit of collaboration.

The St. Rose Girls Varsity Basketball Team brings together talented players from grades 5-8 to form a united and competitive team.

By combining all grade levels, the team fosters mentorship and collaboration, allowing younger players to learn from more experienced teammates while building strong camaraderie. Guided by dedicated coaches, the girls focus on skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship as they represent St. Rose with pride.

Whether practicing hard or competing on the court, the Varsity Girls are a true example of dedication and unity. Go St. Rose Girls!

The St. Rose JJV Basketball program is designed for our youngest athletes in grades 3-4, with one boys team and one girls team. As a feeder program for our JV and Varsity teams, JJV focuses on teaching fundamental basketball skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship in a fun and supportive environment.

This year, we are excited to collaborate with four other local Catholic schools to offer a full basketball season, complete with games and opportunities for growth. The JJV program is a fantastic way to introduce young players to the sport and prepare them for the next level of competition while fostering a love for the game.

Co-ed Track & Field

St. Rose Track & Field is an exciting program for runners in grades K-8 that kicks off in March and runs through June.

With two divisions—our younger athletes in grades K-4 and our older ones in grades 5-8—this program offers opportunities for all skill levels to develop their abilities.

Our team competes in track meets with other Catholic schools in the diocese, and we are proud to share that our K-4 division claimed the Championship Trophy in the final meet of the season!

Track & Field promotes physical fitness, discipline, and goal-setting while building confidence and teamwork. Whether sprinting, jumping, or relays, every athlete has the chance to shine.

The St. Rose Varsity Boys Basketball team is a dynamic group of athletes from grades 7 and 8 who bring skill, passion, and determination to the court.

As the most experienced players in our program, they focus on advanced gameplay, leadership, and teamwork while representing St. Rose with pride in competitive matchups. Guided by dedicated coaches, the Varsity Boys strive to excel in every practice and game, showcasing their hard work and sportsmanship.

This team is a testament to the growth and development fostered through St. Rose athletics.

The St. Rose JV Boys Basketball team is made up of talented and dedicated players from grades 5 and 6.

This team focuses on building fundamental basketball skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship while fostering a love for the game. Under the guidance of experienced coaches, the boys work hard during practices and games to develop their skills and represent St. Rose with pride.

Whether they’re learning new plays or competing on the court, these young athletes embody the spirit of determination and collaboration.
