We are blessed to have the experience and guidance of a full time school nurse at St. Rose School.  The nurse is on site from the time children arrive at school until the time they leave. Her presence helps advance the well-being, academic success, and life-long health of students. To that end, the nurse facilitates positive student responses to normal development; promotes health and safety; intervenes with actual and potential health problems; provides case management services; and actively collaborates with others to build student and family capacity for adaptation, self-management, self-advocacy and learning.

Parents need to ensure that their child's annual physical is up to date and all health information forms are submitted to the Health Office.   The nurse has compiled a library of key forms, documents and articles that can help you manage your child's health.  In many cases, education and prevention are the best defense.
